Joseph was born and raised in Pennsylvania where he graduated with a B.S. in BioBehavioral Health in 2010 from The Pennsylvania State University. After college he joined the Peace Corps and worked in public health in Guatemala before going back to Penn State for a M.S. in Public Health Preparedness in 2013. Shortly after he returned to Penn State, this time for a masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
After PA school Joseph moved to Oregon to start his career in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep medicine. His continued interest in the field of Hematology and Oncology has brought him to Oregon Oncology part time. He is thrilled to be a part of the team that provides such a high level of care and compassion to patients of this community.
He is a board member of the Marion-Polk County Medical Society and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In his spare time, Joseph enjoys traveling the world and exploring Oregon via hiking, paddle boarding, and kayaking. He is an avid animal lover and is the dad of two rescue cockatoos.
