We are currently recruiting for a Phlebotomist to join the team in our busy onsite lab as they care for our patients each day.
Position Overview:
Our on-site Phlebotomists keep care flowing smoothly and quickly for the needs of our hematology and oncology patients. You will be working with a team phlebotomists and Medical Laboratory Scientists to provide exceptional customer service, specimen collection, and processing.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform phlebotomy
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Point-of-care waived lab testing
- Answering phones
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Document scanning/faxing
- Inventory re-stocking
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Position Highlights:
- No work on nights, holidays, weekends
- Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day between 7:30 and 5:30

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with all clinic staff in the pursuit of providing excellent patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Experienced and confident to handle fast paced and unpredictable clinical environment
