What is Hematology?
At Oregon Oncology Specialists, our oncologists also specialize in hematology. Hematologists focus on the treatment of diseases of the blood — including conditions that alter red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. These include anemia, clotting and autoimmune disorders, and blood cancers such as leukemia, multiple myeloma and lymphoma.
