Before attending nursing school at Creighton University in Nebraska, Rebecca Amador completed her first undergrad degree in Nutrition at Montana State University, and worked as a dietitian for several years. In 2013, she earned her NP at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a focus in oncology.
Rebecca fell in love with the field of oncology from the start of her career, and since 2011 has worked first as an inpatient nurse and then as an outpatient infusion nurse. With an oncology nursing certification, she is passionate about caring for the whole person, and partnering with them in their decision making. Rebecca also possesses a special interest in survivorship.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and young son, who keeps her running. She also enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
