Jill Taylor, FNP-C

Jill began her career in healthcare as a CNA at Salem Hospital in 2003. In 2004, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University. After graduating in 2005, Jill began her RN career at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Missing the Pacific Northwest, she returned to the Salem-Keizer area in 2007. In 2014, Jill earned a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University and taught part-time in the nursing program at Linfield University for several years.

Jill dedicated the majority of her nursing career to hospice, palliative care and oncology. During her last decade as an RN, she worked on the inpatient oncology unit at Salem Health. Jill also spent 12 years at Willamette Valley Hospice as an afterhours visit nurse.

In 2022, Jill graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University. She has been nationally board certified since 2022 and holds two additional national certifications: Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and Oncology Certified Nurse. Jill joined the Oregon Oncology team in 2022.

Jill has four grown children and one granddaughter. She enjoys traveling to visit her family, as well as spending time outdoors, sewing, and needlepoint.
