Rea was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1996. Motivated by a deep sense of gratitude to the nation that welcomed her, she enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a combat medic and licensed practical nurse. Her military service established the foundation for a career grounded in discipline, service, and patient‑centered care.
Rea began her professional nursing career in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas in Houston. Her clinical practice reflects a commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and compassionate care across diverse patient populations.
Outside of her professional work, Rea enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending her free time walking coastal beaches and hiking state parks with her husband, Arman. Together, they share three daughters and are proud grandparents to three grandchildren.
