Jeff Schwab grew up in small town Wyoming. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Wyoming and taught music for several years before a career change took him back to school — for nursing. He received a master’s in nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane, along with a professional certification in oncology nursing.
Jeff has been focused on serving cancer patients for going on two decades now. He was an infusion nurse for Good Samaritan Infusion in Portland, and a nurse in Salem Hospital’s Oncology Unit before joining Oregon Oncology Specialists in 2001. He served the clinic as an oncology nurse for eight years before completing his masters, along with a professional certification in oncology nursing.
Jeff still loves music and playing the piano. He is married with two adult daughters. On the weekends he likes to volunteer and serve in his church.
