Meagan grew up in Oregon and lives with her husband and many pets. She knew from a young age that she wanted to go into healthcare, and got her bachelor’s degree in nursing at OHSU. After working in hospice as an RN for several years, she decided to become a nurse practitioner and returned to OHSU for her masters degree. In 2019, she completed a doctorate in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She has worked in gynecologic oncology, family practice, and hematology/oncology. She loves getting to know patients in order to help them make decisions about their own health.
Outside of work, Meagan loves to travel with her family. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and taking care of her animals.
