Robert Davis, MD, joins Samaritan Hematology & Oncology Consultants through a collaboration with Oregon Oncology Specialists. He sees patients with all types of cancer and blood disorders.
Dr. Davis earned a bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and a medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He completed residency training at Rochester General Hospital in upstate New York and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
He chose hematology and medical oncology because he wanted to offer hope and great care to people at a time when they need it most. “Cancer is a scary diagnosis with a lot of unknowns. My goal with every patient is to break it down for them in a way they can understand and then offer them the best treatments available,” he said. “Advances in our field over the last decade have given us reason to be hopeful even in the advanced stages of cancer.”
Away from the office, Dr. Davis enjoys taking his family on adventures, camping, visiting parks, zoos and museums, the Oregon Coast, as well as mountain biking and snowboarding. He and his wife have four young children.
